much does creating a charm cost?
Ellie Lance Creations requires a
$350 deposit to get started on the design.
The cost of creating a charm varies depending upon
the complexity and size of the design.
cost ranges from $350
- $500 per design. That
deposit will be applied to the initial fees and are “one time” charges
for design and molds, that are never paid again
as long as the same charm is reordered through Ellie Lance.
Most of our custom
charms are hand carved using the lost wax manufacturing process,
but we also offer CAD work depending on the piece your require.
ALL of our charms are made in the United States!
can I create a charm in?
We work mainly in
sterling silver, but we can also create your piece in pewter,
gold and bronze.
the initial fees, how much does a finished charm cost? The price of a charm depends upon its design and gram weight. We
can usually give an estimate, but until the charm is cast for
the first time we don't know the exact price. Most are
usually between $20
and $50 depending upon the price of silver at the time of
casting and the size of the charm.
soon can I get a charm made?
You need to allow at least 6-8 weeks
from the time you pay the $350 deposit until you have a sample
to view. Sometimes things can go faster, but it is
safer not to push the deadline! The more lead time the

there a minimum order?
There is not minimum required initially

long does it take to receive re-ordered charms? Please allow 3-4 weeks for re-ordered of sterling silver charms
and at least 5 weeks if we are enameling or adding crystals.
have a custom charm made, will I have to pay all of the initial
fees again to have a pewter key fob and/or zipper pull made
also? Unfortunately yes,
because the process for making a silver charm and a pewter key
fob is different.
